I am a gourmet and therefore it was clear to me from the beginning that I don’t want to
sacrifice if I eat vegan. Focus on what you can eat rather than what you can’t eat. With a few tips and tricks it is not hard to cook vegan, eating balanced, and not having
the feeling of missing out. Plus it is incredibly satisfying and can be low on the budget.
Many of my recipes are inspired by the over 50 countries I travelled to. I love to combine elements from Europe with elements from the Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. Most recipes contain lots of tips on how to change the dish based on personal preferences.
Knowing that vegan food is not everyone’s cup of tea, I created recipes that you and your guests won’t even notice that they are vegan. I already surprised many people with my coconut tiramisu and vegan carbonara. The excitement of friends and acquaintances gave me courage and reinforced my decision to write a cookbook and start my own catering (Food by Debora).
Since I am travelling a lot, I created simple but delicious recipes with fresh ingredients that require very little preparation. I use them a lot when staying somewhere with Couchsurfing and they let me to use their kitchen. There are more recipes on my instagram (@deboraspassions).
